In 2005 a new strategy was developed for Step Change to ensure that the vision of being the best in the world was achieved. This is represented by the 3 pillar temple model and the strategy has 3 elements:
- recognise hazards and reduce risk
- personal ownership for safety
- asset integrity
All three areas are of equal importance and all require involvement, commitment and leadership from the boardroom to the drill floor if we are to ensure that everyone will be safe and injury free i.e. the foundation of the temple.
