Sitting for lengthy periods can make you more likely to suffer from a DVTSymptoms of a DVT can include but not be restricted to:Swelling of the leg or along the vein within the leg.Pain or tenderness in the leg, which may only be detected when standing or walking.Increase in the warmth of the leg close to the affected area.Reddening or discolouration of the sking surrounding the affected area.

During lengthy journey try to excersize periodically to increase blood circulation.Move your legs, calves and feet to encourage blood flow specifically in the lower limbs
