Lessons Identified

The air supply should be disconnected prior to repositioning the unit, changing the cutter or any other work on the machine.The guard should be fully deployed over the cutter when the unit is being repositioned.The machine should never be picked up or handled by the cutter.The manufacturers instruction have been updated and amended to reflect and reinforce these and other basic requirements.

Ensure that the revised manufacturers instructionsfor the safe use of the machine are obtained, available and that the users are fully aware of the precautions to be taken prior to use.
