Description of Incident
Post heavy weather, and during Anchor Handling Vessel (AHV) mooring operation of a Semi-Submersible Drilling Unit, an Able Seaman (AB) was caught between subsurface buoyancy unit and safe haven after release of sea fastening lashing wire.
AB sustained crush injuries to chest area and was medevac’d to hospital.
