All such venting pipework should be properly designed and constructed to meet industry engineering standards and avoid the use of threaded components. Such venting pipework should be fixed/lashed where feasible and its use controlled by adequate procedure and risk assessment. Where in doubt, opinion from engineering support should be sought to provide input to amendments to the integrity of gas plant.
