This year’s National Eye Health Week takes place from the 21st to 27th September 2020.
This campaign aims to inspire and educate people on the importance of eye health.
In early 2019, Step Change in Safety was approached by industry about what the organisation could do to promote eye safety. Damage to the eye has the potential to impact eyesight, therefore it is important that they are protected from hazards in order to avoid injury.
We took this on board, and members of the WEST workgroup worked closely with member companies to address this industry-wide issue. The result is an industry-wide eye safety initiative which aims to increase awareness of the importance of eye safety and highlight techniques to prevent eye injury.
This off-the-shelf safety campaign to promote good eye safety at your site features a suite of five posters which you can download below, and a short video highlighting the importance of correctly fitting PPE, dusting down and much more.
