The Offshore Safety Awards are back for 2022 as part of the Step Change in Safety 25 Year Anniversary.

The Offshore Safety Awards, jointly organised by OEUK and Step Change in Safety, seek to win acknowledgement for the excellent work being done to promote safety across the industry and to share and celebrate the outstanding contributions being made by individuals and companies to the industry’s safety goals.

By popular demand the nominations deadline has now been extended to 12 noon, Monday 4 July allowing you the chance to collate a submission and be part of this unique event!

This award is for an individual(s) or team who have demonstrated a passion for safety, leads by example, and continuously strives for safe operations which has had a positive influence on the safety culture, behaviours and or performance in a maritime environment.

This award is for an individual(s) or team who have positively influenced or improved a process system in the area of risk management, system efficiency, reliability and/or operability through the introduction of a modification and/or innovative solution.

This award is to recognise an enthusiastic and committed elected Safety Representative that has demonstrably influenced the safety agenda, culture and or behaviours at their worksite.

This award is for the individual(s) or team who can demonstrate a practical example of how they introduced, influenced or enhanced a learning and sharing culture within the area of Safety at their employing company, place of work or within OEUK and or Step Change in Safety.

This award is for the individual(s) or team who have actively engaged in improving their worksite and or company approach to employee welfare and wellbeing. Areas to consider in this category could be in the area of mental and or physical wellbeing, site welfare and or the working environment.

This award is for the individual(s) or team which has actively engaged with its co-workers on Safety matters, describing how their engagement has contributed to improving the safety culture and or performance at their worksite or employing company.
