“Where’s Your Head At?” An energy industry-wide wellbeing survey

Hi ,

Step Change in Safety is proud to announce the launch of a new wellbeing survey aimed at the energy sector workforce, in collaboration with the IADC North Sea Chapter and the Marine Safety Forum.

Currently, a third of UK workers are experiencing a health or wellbeing issue and 39% of the UK workforce having taken time off work or reduced their responsibilities due to a wellbeing issue.*

This survey has been developed to identify and better understand our workforce’s current state of wellbeing. The findings will be instrumental in shaping future initiatives and support systems to promote a stronger culture of safety and care across the energy industry.

Open to everyone working within the energy sector, participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous, ensuring that all responses are kept confidential.

To help launch the survey within organisations, a communications pack containing supporting materials (presentation, poster, 50 second film and QR code) is available to download from Step Change in Safety | Wellbeing.

By sharing our experiences, we can support each other and help make a difference now and for future workforce generations.

The survey is open until 26 August 2024, takes approx 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed here.

Thank you for playing your part.
