The Passenger Size workgroup managed the size and shape recommendations that were set out by the CAA in CAP1145. The group decided that the safest and most efficient way to respond is to measure helicopter passengers' shoulder width using an approved set of callipers by a specially trained measurer. VANTAGE and Passenger Size
Every measurement must be inserted into VANTAGE before an offshore worker can fly in a helicopter. Mobilising operators should be the first port-of-call to insert the measurements into the system.
